Our very own student tutorial and talent center

Wow! I'm inspired to write the latest of what's to come here.

My friends and I will be gathering tomorrow night to discuss on our plans of putting up our very own center. Yup. you see it right, we'll be putting a student tutorial and talent center.

What's our purpose?

Basically, we thought of giving back to others the talent that has been given to us. We have various talents so we chose to simplify and concentrate on the thing that we already as mastered. And that is, in the arts (singing, dance, painting, theater, mime, etc) and in teaching (any subjects).

We noticed that through the years, we gained the skill to verbalize and actualize what we have in mind. We gained knowledge and ability to communicate the essential message that needs to be heard, be seen, be felt and be understood. Yes, we envision the enhancement and development of the inner-directed and well-adjusted child into a skillful performing artist. Not only that, we will provide relevant opportunities to explore and enrich one's artistic potential to provide equal opportunity to self-actualization and wholesome learning experiences towards holistic development.

Sounds impossible right?

But we believe we can do so..

Earthquake hits Negros-Cebu Region- February 6, 2012

An earthquake hit the Negros-Cebu region on February 6, 2012 at 11:49AM, The US Geological Survey (USGS) confirmed that the Negros-Cebu region was the epicenter of this quake. The Philippine counterpart agency-Phivolcs-- that the cause of the shake was tectonic in origin with magnitude 6.9. Further, the quake has a depth of 33km, with epicenter 71 km off (44 miles) SSE (161°) of Bacolod, Negros, Philippines. ALERT . Crimonology students on guard after short moments of shock. Trembling from other areas such as Iloilo City (Intensity 5); Kalibo, Aklan; San Jose de Buenavista and Pandan, Antique; Sta. Barbara, Iloilo; Dipolog City (Intensity 4) was also observed. This trembling sent home thousands of students after administrators announced the postponement of classes. Philvolcs warned that major damage and aftershocks are expected from the quake. The building code of the Philippines under PD1096 has been amended under the house bill (HB) 2836 in relation to the Republic Act (RA) 9292 (Electronics Engineering Law of 2004). My stake to this amendment is that it gives additional force to the weak power of the electronics engineers in the country, particularly here in the Visayas.
