Thankful of the support and confidence of the entire fleet of electronics engineers in the Western Visayas region, we are both privileged and at the same time burdened to secure  the implementation of the Republic Act 9292 (Electronics Engineering Law) in Iloilo City. Since our previous post in September of 2013 (Click here) , there have been numerous high rise and other significant construction works in Iloilo City as it is gearing towards getting the title as Queen City of the South. However, these projects are not supported by ancillary permits that part and parcel of the requirements under PD1096 (National Building Code of the Philippines). Numerous office of the building officials in the Philippines are implementing the said RA9292, however, Iloilo City is not doing its part. From being a test engineer in a global company, to an instructor in a private school, into a sales engineer, I am slowly transitioning to a career that is about to shake my world.  I have developed a network of clients in my previous stint. The brand image that I developed seemed to have an emotional impact that is why they consider our service as topnotch. I recently am inspired to setup a small business entity to cater to the needs of my partners. Yes, you read that right! I am putting my own business. Hope that this new endeavor will bear fruit.

The building code of the Philippines under PD1096 has been amended under the house bill (HB) 2836 in relation to the Republic Act (RA) 9292 (Electronics Engineering Law of 2004). My stake to this amendment is that it gives additional force to the weak power of the electronics engineers in the country, particularly here in the Visayas. The big deal of providing an affordable solution to malnutrition in the Philippines (and hopefully throughout the world) has been answered thanks to facebook! My friend Donna (registered pharmacists from the Philippines), has discovered a powerful formula that may help aid parents of malnourished children. Her quest to this exciting discovery started when a couple of months ago, she moved to Boracay Island to take a break from her life. An earthquake hit the Negros-Cebu region on February 6, 2012 at 11:49AM, The US Geological Survey (USGS) confirmed that the Negros-Cebu region was the epicenter of this quake. The Philippine counterpart agency-Phivolcs-- that the cause of the shake was tectonic in origin with magnitude 6.9. Further, the quake has a depth of 33km, with epicenter 71 km off (44 miles) SSE (161°) of Bacolod, Negros, Philippines. ALERT . Crimonology students on guard after short moments of shock. Filipino Duck Egg Tutorial Balut or the Filipino Duck Egg is usually sold in the Philippine streets. While walking along with some of my close studs, we decided to have short to-go meal with a Filipino Balut. The balut we bought was sold for a whopping P15 for two! So I bought one order with two baluts for me. Yumyum! While enjoying the Filipino duck egg or Balut, we (My friends and I) conversed a lot enjoying sipping, eating and finishing the delectable meal. I was about to purchase a new smart bro unit to ready myself in my 6months long stay in Manila, until I remembered a speed test challenge that was featured on TV. So with a little research, I came across some videos below which tends to depict the "performance" of globe tattoo, and smart bro. Of which after I watched the videos, it made me realize that I have to choose from the two big companies. In essence, since the network connection is wireless, you will expect to have transmission losses. Another consideration also is that, the distance from the transceiver you are in.
